Spotlight On: Screen Vinyl Image
Behind the success of the D.C. based shoegazing band, Screen Vinyl Image, is husband and wife Kim and Jake Reid. Since departing from the group, Alcian Blue, and releasing their first EP (The Midnight Sun) in 2007, Screen Vinyl Image has become one of the most prominent bands in The District. With the success of their latest release, Strange Behavior (Dec ’11), the group has received praise from publications like the Washington Post for not only their recordings, but also for their powerful live performances.
